_Applies to W-2 jobs (through Grow2 by Wonolo). For 1099 work—see_ [_When will I get paid? (1099)_](https://support-1099.wonolo.com/en_us/when-will-i-get-paid-1099-SJvFf4sTeg)_._Grow2 Wonoloers have the option to opt into the Faster Pay program (“Faster Pay”).  This program enables Grow2 Wonoloers to access their earnings in advance of the normally scheduled payroll deposit. This page explains how it works.

### **How it works**

**1\. You find out your anticipated Faster Pay amount at the beginning of the workweek**

At the beginning of every workweek, you'll receive a text with the anticipated Faster Pay amount for the week for each of the W-2 jobs you have accepted for that week. This is a fixed dollar figure that applies to every W-2 job you complete that week.

**2\. You complete a W-2 job**

Work your job as normal.

Keep the Wonolo app open and make sure location services are set to **Always** (not **While using the app**) — this helps us verify that you worked the job. For setup steps, see: [How do I turn on location tracking for the Wonolo app? (W-2)](https://support-grow2.wonolo.com/en_us/how-do-i-turn-on-location-tracking-for-the-wonolo-app-w-2-rk6QjS9Ibg)

At most worksites, this is all we need to start the Faster Pay process for the job. At some worksites, your job will also need to be approved by the Requestor before Faster Pay for that job can be processed.

**3\. Your Faster Pay is deposited**

In most instances, your Faster Pay amount immediately begins processing as soon as your job is marked as complete, and typically reaches your account within 72 hours. For jobs that require Requestor approval first, that 72-hour window starts once approval happens — and approval timing can vary by worksite. You'll get a notification when it's been deposited.

**4\. You receive your remaining pay after payroll**

Every Friday, you will receive the remaining pay for your W-2 jobs that you worked during the previous week. In other words, you'll receive your total net pay for the prior week’s completed W-2 jobs minus the Faster Pay amounts already paid for those jobs.

### **How your Faster Pay amount is set**

At the start of each workweek, we estimate your total take-home (“net”) pay for the jobs you have accepted for that week. We divide that amount evenly across your jobs, and round down to the nearest $10 to keep the number simple. That's your anticipated Faster Pay amount for every job you work that week, assuming you work the full job.

Faster Pay is based on your estimated net pay because your taxes and deductions are only an estimate at that point and will not be deducted until payroll runs.

This means:

* The Faster Pay amount is the same for every W-2 job you complete that week

* You know the Faster Pay amount before any job starts

* Your Faster Pay is always less than your full take-home pay for the job — the remainder of your take-home pay is paid on your weekly payroll check

### **How job approval timing affects Faster Pay**

In general, Faster Pay is processed after a job is approved by the Requestor. However, for select jobs, Faster Pay may be processed after your job's scheduled end time, even while approval is still pending — this shortens the time for you to receive your Faster Pay.

To help ensure you receive the full Faster Pay for a job as promptly as possible:

* Stay enrolled in the Faster Pay program

* Keep location tracking enabled for the Wonolo app

* Perform the job at the job location for the full duration of the job

After your Faster Pay payment, you will receive the remainder of your net pay for your approved W-2 jobs through weekly payroll to your selected W-2 payment method. Your paycheck for W-2 jobs worked Sunday at 12:00 AM through Saturday at 11:59 PM should reach your W-2 payment destination by the following Friday at 5:00 PM.

### **How much Faster Pay you receive for a job depends on your location services**

The amount you receive in Faster Pay for each job depends on how much of the job your location confirms you were at the worksite.

**% of job confirmed at worksite**

**Amount of Faster Pay you receive**

75% or more of the job

Full Faster Pay amount

50% to 74% of the job

Half the Faster Pay amount

Less than 50% of the job

No Faster Pay — the entire pay for your hours worked will be included in the applicable weekly paycheck

Keeping the Wonolo app open and location tracking enabled throughout your job matters because it will determine the amount of your Faster Pay payment for that job.

**Example:** At the beginning of the week, your Faster Pay amount per completed job is set at $80. You work the whole job but your location confirms you were onsite for at least 80% of your job. You receive the full $80 in Faster Pay, and the remainder of your pay for the job in the applicable weekly paycheck.

**Example:** At the beginning of the week, your Faster Pay amount per completed job is set at $80. You work your whole job, but your location can only confirm you were onsite for 60% of it. You receive $40, and the rest of your pay for that job comes in the applicable weekly paycheck.

**Example:** At the beginning of the week, your Faster Pay amount per completed job is set at $80. You work the whole job, but your location can only confirm you were onsite for 40% of it. You do not receive any Faster Pay for that job. However, you are still paid for all hours worked in the applicable weekly paycheck.

Your location services only affect the amount of your Faster Pay. Your total pay for a job (Faster Pay plus the applicable payroll check) will always be based on your total hours worked.
